
Lancers Forward Seth Ambroz Drafted by Columbus Blue Jackets

ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce that veteran forward Seth Ambroz was selected 128th overall in Round 5 of the 2011 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft. Ambroz was one of 27 current USHL players selected over the course of the two-day event and one of nearly 40 players chosen with USHL playing experience. A native of New Prague, Minnesota, Ambroz enjoyed his draft moment just miles from his hometown at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
A three-year member of the Lancers, Ambroz tallied 60 goals, 126 points and 295 penalty minutes (PIM) during his tenure in Omaha. The 6'3", 210 pound forward will continue his hockey career next season at the University of Minnesota playing for the Golden Gophers.
