
Lancers End 2019 with 6-4 Win over Musketeers

SIOUX CITY, IA - The Omaha Lancers defeated the Sioux City Musketeers on Tuesday night by a final score of 6-4.
In the first period, Viktor Masilevich (2:11) scored on the power play to get the Musketeers ahead 1-0. The Lancers answered back on their first power play of the night when Alex Campbell (5:11) tipped the puck in to beat Androlewicz. The back-and-forth continued when Robby Newton (6:08) scored on Jakub Dobes. Dobes was then pulled and Kyle McClellan was called into the net. The Lancers went back on the power play and Alex Campbell (12:00) netted his second of the night to tie the game 2-2. Later on the in the period, Chase Bradley (16:12) scored his first of the season to get the Lancers their first lead of the game, 3-2.
In the second frame, Joel Maatta (11:29) evened the game up on the power play, 3-3. Four of the six goals were scored on the power play to end the second period.
In the third period, Jack Randl (0:35) scored an unassisted goal to get the Lancers ahead 4-3. Minutes later, Luke Mobley (6:46) went bar down on Androlewicz to get the Lancers a 5-3 lead. Sam Stange (18:31) scored with the extra attacker on the ice for the Musketeers. Alex Campbell (19:09) would end the night with a hat trick scoring an empty-net goal for a 6-4 final score.
The Lancers are now 12-9-5-0 with 29 points on the year.
Omaha returns to action on Friday at the Ice Box to face the Lincoln Stars. Puck drop is at 7:05 pm and all the action is on 1290 AM and HockeyTV.
