Omaha Lancers News Release
RALSTON, NE - In an effort to supplement game-night parking options at Ralston Arena, the Omaha Lancers have instituted free shuttle service before and after all remaining 2013-14 USHL regular season and playoff home games, between Horsemen's Park and Ralston Arena, beginning with Friday's "Ted & Kathy Baer Appreciation Night" vs. the Tri-City Storm, the team announced Thursday.
During all remaining Lancers home game-nights this season, fans are invited to park their cars at Horsemen's Park, located at 6303 Q Street in Omaha, and enjoy complimentary shuttle service, complete with ADA approved seating, to and from Ralston Arena between the hours of 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
"As an organization, we always strive to ensure that every aspect of our fans' game-night experience is top notch," explained Lancers Owner, President and Managing Partner Ben Robert on Thursday. "With a first place team on the ice and three consecutive sellouts at Ralston Arena, this is an exciting time for the Lancers and this announcement is just another step in providing the best fan experience in Omaha."
Next up for the Lancers, it's a celebration of the team's proud history under their longtime former owners on "Ted & Kathy Baer Appreciation Night" on Friday at 7:05 pm vs. the Tri-City Storm. Full coverage of Friday's game begins with the "Valpak Pregame Show" at 6:50 pm on the Lancers' flagship station, "The Mighty" 1290 KOIL with Lancers broadcaster Tony Brown providing the play-by-play. Then on Saturday, it's "Leap-for-a-Cure Night", presented by Methodist Health System vs. Omaha's archrival Lincoln Stars, as the Lancers don specialty Leap-for-a-Cure jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game to help aid in the fight against brain cancer.
In 2013-14, the five-time Anderson Cup and seven-time Clark Cup Champion Omaha Lancers drop the puck on their 28th season in the USHL. Season ticket packages for the Lancers' second campaign at the state-of-the-art Ralston Arena are available now starting at just $12.50 per game!
