Lancaster Stormers News Release
Lancaster, PennsylvaniaâReservations for season tickets to the Lancaster Barnstormers' 2005 Inaugural Season will go on sale at 10am on Saturday, February 14, at the team's "Baseball is Back" Fan Fest. The event will be held in F&M College's Alumni Sports and Fitness Center.
For a deposit of $25 per ticket, individuals will receive a seat selection priority number. This number will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with the lowest numbers going to people who make their reservations earliest. Customers will be limited to eight season tickets per reservation.
"You must have a seat selection priority number to qualify for a season ticket," said Jon Danos, the Barnstormers' President. "Of course, the lower the number, the more seats there are to choose from."
"Based on all the inquiries we've received, we expect tremendous interest in pre-ordering. That's why we're setting up a special area at Fan Fest. It's designed to make reserving season tickets quick and easy," he added.
After February 14th, season ticket reservations will be available online at the team's web site, www.lancasterbarnstormers.com, and will also be accepted by mail at P.O. Box 4728, Lancaster, PA 17604.
According to Danos, people holding seat selection priority numbers will receive specific payment-due dates, and actual seat and package selection will take place when fans are able to see exactly which seats are available to them.
"We're designing Clipper Magazine Stadium with the idea that every seat will be a great one, so it's not a matter of seating quality but specific location in the stadium and special benefits that will motivate fans to act quickly to get their seat selection priority numbers," Danos noted.
The Barnstormers will be offering three season ticket packages. Two full-season packages will include all 70 games on the home schedule, with seats located in the Field Box or Dugout Box sections. Dugout Box seats are located in the rows closest to the field. The partial season package, with seats located in the Field Box sections, will include 22 of the most sought-after games on the schedule.
"All three packages come with a full complement of amenities and added-value features," said Danos. "In addition, the pricing represents real savings over the individual cost of equivalent seats."
