Lamacchia Named NWL's Pitcher of the Night

Rochester, MN - The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks pitcher Derek Lamacchia(pronounced luh-MOCK-e-uh) the NWL Pitcher of the Night for his efforts on Monday, June 13 versus the Green Bay Bullfrogs. The Quinnipiac University product made quick work of Green Bay Monday night, allowing three hits in 7.0 innings of work at renovated Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo. The Whitestone, New York native is now 1-1 on the season with a 4.73 earned run average.

The Bucks start a four-game road trip tonight, facing the Wisconsin Woodchucks for the start of a two-game set. Season tickets and single-game tickets are currently on sale.
