Lafranchise Scores OT Winner as Bridgeport Tops Binghamton on Sunday

BRIDGEPORT, Conn.- Kane Lafranchise scored the game-winning goal just 46 seconds into overtime and Eamon McAdam (2-0-0-0) made 24 saves as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, proud AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, earned a 3-2 victory over the Binghamton Senators (5-8-1-1) at Webster Bank Arena on Sunday.

Tanner Fritz and Michael Dal Colle also added goals for the Sound Tigers, helping Bridgeport improve to 4-0-0-0 when going beyond regulation this season.

The Sound Tigers opened the scoring with a power-play goal 3:54 into the game. With Alex Krushelnyski in the box for hooking, Dal Colle hammered a one-time slap shot on target from the blue line, which Tanner Fritz finished from the left post. The versatile forward lifted the second chance over goaltender Matt O'Connor's;
