TORONTO, ON. - Garret Sparks posted the shutout as the Toronto Marlies blanked the St. John's IceCaps 3-0 Sunday night at Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario.

The loss snapped the IceCaps winning streak at three.

Andrew Neilson, Byron Froese and Brendan Leipsic (into an empty net) scored for the Marlies - all coming in the third period. Charlie Lindgren held down the St. John's fort admirably, kicking out 37 shots.
