The Aces now travel to Utah for a four-game series against the Grizzlies, beginning on Friday, February 15. Alaska returns home to host the Las Vegas Wranglers in three straight on Friday, February 22. All Aces games can be heard on NewsTalk 103.7FM and 750AM KFQD. Lafranchise, 24, had just returned to the Aces from a month-long AHL stint with Oklahoma City when he was called to Houston last week. He appeared in one game for the Aeros in a 5-2 loss to the San Antonio Rampage on February 4. In his only two games with Alaska since 2013 began, Lafranchise had a pair of assists in Las Vegas on February 1 and 2. Lafranchise has 23 points (4g, 19a) in 32 ECHL games this season, while also appearing in 10 games in the AHL. Despite missing 19 Aces games this season, Lafranchise remains Alaska's leading defenseman scorer, and is currently tied for 15th among ECHL defensemen.
