Los Angeles FC News Release
The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) today introduced four new corporate partners including Patria Energy/Arriba Chelada, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), Panda Express and Power Crunch. Each partnership will take immediate effect this year.
The Club welcomes two new beverage brands, Patria Energy and Arriba Chelada to LAFC this season. A long-lasting energy drink, Patria Energy will be available for purchase at both the Goalkeeper's Market and Figueroa Club at Banc of California Stadium. A clean label michelada mix, Arriba Chelada, is available to mix with beverages at the Sunset Club bar and the Figueroa Club bar. Additionally, Patria Energy/Arriba Chelada have co-branded, in-market retail promotion throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Patria Energy Drink is scientifically developed for individuals who require an energy source without the sudden crash. The effect of the ingredients in Patria Energy Drink delivers the burst of energy and concentration you need to accomplish daily goals, tasks, and elevate your performance.
LADWP joins the Club this year as a community driven partner. The water and power provider for the city of Los Angeles will be sponsoring the LAFC Foundation to install four (4) water filtrations stations at LAFC futsal court locations across the city. The partnership with LADWP also includes LAFC Street Team appearances at Banc of California Stadium once the season resumes.
LADWP is committed to helping customers stay safer at home, offers discount assistance programs and extended payment plans to customers, and reminds Los Angeles residents that tap water remains safe to drink. For more information on LADWP and water/power in L.A., please visit www.ladwp.com.
Panda Express joins the Club as another community driven partner, bringing their Learn With Me program to elementary and middle schools across Los Angeles. The Learn with Me Program provides education about Lunar New Year and the traditional Chinese calendar to students from 3rd to 5th grade.
Aligning with LAFC as a force for good in the community, Panda Express has created a COVID-19 Community Care Fund to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to select hospitals in need. Panda Cares, the philanthropic arm of Panda Restaurant Group, has donated over $3.78 million worth of surgical and respirator masks as well as gloves to protect patients and healthcare workers at hospitals in COVID-19 hotbeds, such as Southern and Northern California.
Additionally, Panda Express has been standing shoulder to shoulder with LAFC through the Club's recent community initiatives. On May 28, Panda Express provided volunteer meals for LAFC's American Red Cross Blood Drive at Banc of California Stadium. Panda Express is also committed to donating a total of 50,000 meals by the end of June in an effort to support the Los Angeles community.
Power Crunch has joined the Club in being a force for good in the local community by donating 1,000 full-size Power Crunch Bars to benefit LAFC's American Red Cross Blood Drive donors. LAFC has hosted three blood drives at Banc of California Stadium to date, with plans to host an additional two.
Additionally, the protein bar company activated during LAFC's home opener fan fest and has donated product for several of the Club's community-driven initiatives including the Club's Jersey Launch in Chinatown. They also hosted a co-branded sweepstakes with the Club and grocery retailer, Ralph's, where one lucky winner will receive a VIP LAFC experience.
