The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Orlando City SC battled to a 2-2 tie on Saturday night at Exploria Stadium. LAFC (19-4-6) now heads to Philadelphia to take on the Union on Saturday, September 14. The match is slated for 4:30 p.m. PT on YouTube TV, Univision KVMD, ESPN 710 AM, KFWB 980.

LAFC would get on the scoresheet first as forward Adrien Perez tallied his first MLS goal to give the Black & Gold the lead in the 12th minute. After a pair of blocked attempts off a corner kick, the ball fell to Perez who sent his shot into the back of the net.

The lead did not last long as Orlando leveled things up 30 seconds after the restart. Midfielder Cristian Higuita sent Nani in on goal, who would calmly chip the ball over Tyler Miller. The Lions added their second in the 20th minute with a great buildup play down the right flank that culminated with a first-time finish by Benji Michel.

LAFC would settle into the match and control most of the possession, eventually finding the equalizer 12 minutes from time. Diego Rossi tallied his 15th of the season following a great give-and-go at the top of the box with Adama Diomande.

The Black & Gold remain in first place in the Supporters' Shield standings with a 19-4-6 (63 points) record. The Club has five games remaining in the 2019 regular season, including three contests at Banc of California Stadium.
