
LAFC and BMO Host Community Celebration of Black History Month at South LA Cafe

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), in partnership with BMO, invite community members to come together to celebrate Black History Month at South LA Café on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The event from 2:00 - 4:00 PM PT, will feature a live DJ, giveaways and a special appearance by LAFC forward Mahala Opoku.
Located in the heart of Los Angeles, South LA Café is a black-owned small business that operates as a coffee shop and cultural center. Over the years, owners Joe and Celia Ward-Wallace have built a safe community space where they can focus on fighting racial, social, economic and food inequities, all while serving the community.
