Lady Checkers tryouts this Sunday

CHARLOTTE, NC – The Charlotte Checkers professional hockey team will hold tryouts for their new skating and entertainment squad, the Lady Checkers, this Sunday, September 26th at 2:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at the uptown Peak Fitness at 1001 Morehead Square Drive, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC, 28203.

During the tryouts, each applicant will learn several dances and perform for a panel of judges. Interested applicants must be high school graduates at least 18 years of age. Please come prepared in dance or tennis shoes, black dance pants, and a sports bra or top that shows the midriff. Hair and makeup should be completed beforehand. All applicants also need to bring a resume, a photo of yourself, and $15 for the non-refundable tryout fee.
