
Falcons Help Launch NHL Hockey 2005 with PS2 Tourney

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons and GameStop are celebrating the launch of EA Sports' NHL Hockey 2005 video game with a Sony Playstation 2 tournament on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at GameStop's 7675 N. Blackstone Ave. location in Universal Park.
Winners of the tournament will receive a copy of NHL Hockey 2005 and tickets to a Falcons game this upcoming season. Falcons player Jordan Landry will be on hand to sign autographs, Freddie Falcon will be there to entertain and the Falcons will bring out their slapshot cage for a taste of the real thing along with all of the video-game playing.

The Falcons battle the Bakersfield Condors in a home-and-home pre-season series on Oct. 15 and 16 before opening the 2004-05 ECHL regular season on Oct. 22 against the Las Vegas Wranglers at Save Mart Center.
