LOS ANGELES - Squaring off against Major League Soccer's newest expansion team, the LA Galaxy will travel to face Charlotte FC in its 2022 MLS regular-season home opener at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, March 5 at 5:00 p.m. PT, it was announced today.
The Galaxy's entire 2022 MLS regular season schedule, with kickoff times and broadcast details, will be announced at a later date as part of the league's full schedule announcement.
Earlier this month, MLS announced the 2022 regular season will kick off on Saturday, Feb. 26, and run through Decision Day, the regular season finale, on Sunday, October 9. Following three consecutive weeks of Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs action, MLS Cup will be played on Saturday, Nov. 5.
