
LA Galaxy Set to Host 23rd Consecutive Fourth of July Fireworks Show

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy will host their 23rd annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show - the longest-standing Fourth of July fireworks show in all of professional sports - after the match at StubHub Center against D.C. United on Wednesday, July 4 at 7:30 p.m. PT (Spectrum SportsNet; Spectrum Deportes). Tickets for the match and postgame fireworks show, presented by Alaska Airlines, are available now at www.lagalaxy.com/tickets.
The first 15,000 fans to enter StubHub Center on Wednesday, July 4 will receive "Buy One, Get 50% Off" voucher on trips from Southern California to Mexico, courtesy of Alaska Airlines. The vouchers allow fans that purchase a ticket from Southern California to Mexico via Alaska Airlines to receive a second ticket on the same flight at a 50% discount during select travel dates. The fireworks show will start 10 minutes after the final whistle. For fans in attendance, there will be a test launch at halftime for fans to ensure good viewpoints of the postgame festivities. The fireworks show will last 15 minutes and feature a special playlist created by DJ Vick One throughout the show. Fans will be able to watch the show from various areas throughout StubHub Center.
During the pregame ceremony, First Lieutenant Jeff Collins from March Air Force Base will sing the United States National Anthem, with the Galaxy displaying a 150-ft. American flag on the field at StubHub Center. The stadium field will also feature LA Galaxy word marks in red, white and blue.
Fans in attendance are also encouraged to stop the by the LA Galaxy Foundation booth to purchase patriotic scarves and warm-ups benefiting the Hero of the Game initiative. The Hero of the Game program honors police, fire, and military personnel and their families during LA Galaxy games throughout the season.
The Galaxy have played at home on July 4 every year since the club's founding in 1996; it is the longest streak of home games played on the Fourth of July holiday in all professional sports.
LA Galaxy Season Ticket Membership deposits for the 2019 Major League Soccer season are now available. Galaxy fans can go to www.lagalaxy.com/since96 to place their 2019 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Membership deposit for $50 per seat. In addition to visiting www.lagalaxy.com/since96, fans can place their 2019 Season Ticket Membership deposit at StubHub Center by visiting the Galaxy booth atop Section 104 at any LA Galaxy home game. Fans can also call 1.877.3GALAXY (342.5299) and press 2 when prompted to place Season Ticket Membership deposits.
