Notes:

- The LA Galaxy earned a 2-1 win over Minnesota United FC Sunday evening on the road at Allianz Field in Round One of the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs.

- With the win, the LA Galaxy advance to play LAFC on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. PT.

- The LA Galaxy were the only MLS team to win on the road in Round One in the opening weekend of the MLS postseason.

- The LA Galaxy are now 5-0-2 all-time against Minnesota United.

- On the road, LA are 3-0-1 against Minnesota, including 1-0-1 at Allianz Field.

- During the regular season, LA went 5-10-2 with 22 goals scored and 34 conceded on the road and are now 1-0-0 in postseason, with two goals scored and one conceded.

- The Galaxy are 14-2-1 this season when scoring the game's opening goal, and 3-13-1 when conceding first.

- When leading at halftime this season, LA went 7-2-1. They are 10-4-2 when tied at halftime and 0-9-0 when trailing at halftime.

- LA Galaxy midfielder scored the game's opening goal in Minnesota. It marked his fourth goal this season and the 15th of his MLS career.

- Jonathan dos Santos tallied the game-winning goal Sunday night. It was his third goal of the season.

- Midfielder Perry Kitchen made the start Sunday, marking his first appearance since Aug. 11.

- Midfielder Romain Alessandrini returned from injury Sunday night, making his first appearance since April.

- In 24 seasons, this is the 19th time in club history that the LA Galaxy take part in postseason play.

- In all, the club holds a 45-22-7 playoff record with an MLS best five MLS Cup victories.

- Their 44 playoff wins are the most of any team in MLS.
