
LA Galaxy Midfielders Sebastian Lletget, Jonathan Dos Santos and Efrain Alvarez Called up to National Team Rosters

LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy midfielders Sebastian Lletget, Jonathan dos Santos and Efrain Alvarez have been called up to their respective national teams for upcoming matches this month. Lletget was named to a 26-player training camp roster as the USA prepares to gather in Austria for a match against Jamaica on March 25 before facing Northern Ireland on March 28. Dos Santos and Alvarez join Mexico as they prepare to face Whales on March 27 in Whales and Costa Rica on March 30 in Austria.
The USMNT will continue preparations for a significant year that includes the Concacaf Nations League Final Four in June, the Gold Cup in July and the start of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying, when it returns to action against Jamaica on March 25 at Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. Kickoff in the rematch of the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup Semifinal is set for 10 a.m. PT, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN2, UniMás and TUDN.
Three days later, the U.S. meets Northern Ireland for the first time in more than 70 years. The National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast hosts the contest, set for 9 a.m. PT with coverage on FOX, UniMás and TUDN.
Alvarez, 18, earns his first senior call up to the Mexico National Team after featuring for various youth sides. He joins Dos Santos, who has made 48 total appearances for the senior side since his international debut in 2009.
The LA Galaxy's 2021 MLS Regular Season Home opener is set for Sunday, April 25 at 2:30 p.m. PT at Dignity Health Sports Park against New York Red Bulls live on FS1. The club kicks off their 26th season in MLS on Sunday, April 18 at 12 p.m. PT when they face Inter Miami CF at Inter Miami CF Stadium live on ABC and ESPN Deportes.
