LOS ANGELES - Playing their first game following the international break, the LA Galaxy fell 2-1 to Seattle Sounders FC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday night. Midfielder Sacha Kljestan tallied his second goal of the season in the loss to Seattle.

LA Galaxy Debut
LA Galaxy defender Séga Coulibaly made his MLS and LA Galaxy debut in the match against Seattle, starting and playing 90 minutes. Coulibaly led the Galaxy with three interceptions in the match. LA acquired the defender from French club AS Nancy on April 28, 2021.
Goal-Scoring Plays
LAG - Sacha Kljestan (Penalty Kick), 22nd minute: After Javier Hernandez was fouled inside the penalty area, Kljestan stepped up to the spot and rolled his finish into the bottom right corner.
SEA - Yeimar (Joao Paulo), 41st minute: Joao Paulo's corner kick service found the head of Yeimar, whose header from inside the six-yard box was powered into the net.
SEA - Raúl Ruidíaz, 49th minute: A loose ball in the penalty area was flicked to Ruidíaz, whose initial shot was parried away by Jonathan Bond. The rebound fell to Ruidiaz, who slotted the ball into the net.
