LA Galaxy Announce 2019 Promotional Calendar

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy have announced the promotional calendar for home games in the 2019 MLS Regular Season. Long-time favorites Pride Night, LA Kings Night and Fan Appreciation Night return in 2019, while Firefighter Appreciation Night, Lakers Night and Military Appreciation Night are all set to make their debut.

The LA Galaxy will open the 2019 MLS Regular Season with the Home Opener presented by Dignity Health this Saturday against Chicago Fire, as the club and its fans honor David Beckham, unveiling his statue at Dignity Health Sports Park before inducting him into the club's Ring of Honor. The historic night will kick off the schedule of nine promotional nights coming to Dignity Health Sports Park in 2019. Tickets to that match are on sale now, available here .

Honoring servicemen and servicewomen both home and abroad, the Galaxy will host Firefighter Appreciation Night presented by Herbalife Nutrition on Saturday, April 13 and Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

The Galaxy will celebrate fellow championship LA sports franchises LA Kings and Los Angeles Lakers in separate promotional nights. The Galaxy will host LA Kings Night on Sunday, March 31 against Portland Timbers. Lakers Night presented by Spectrum SportsNet will debut later in the season, when the Galaxy take on Sporting KC on Sunday, Sept. 15.

The sixth-annual Pride Night presented by Spectrum SportsNet will celebrate the LGBTQ community on Sunday, June 2 against New England Revolution. Also returning are Protect the Pitch Night on Friday, April 19, to raise awareness for environmental sustainability ahead of Earth Day, as well as the longest-standing Independence Day fireworks show in professional sports on July 4 in a match presented by Alaska Airlines. Fan Appreciation Day will take place on Sunday, Sept. 29 for the season finale in a match presented by San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.
