LA Galaxy and LA Galaxy Foundation to Host "Global View on Mental Health" Presented by Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Dignity Health and Purina Tomorrow

LOS ANGELES - In recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness Month and in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH), Dignity Health and Purina, LA Galaxy defender Maya Yoshida and forward Miguel Berry will participate on a panel, "Global View on Mental Health." In a conversation led by LA Galaxy alumnus Cobi Jones, the group will share their perspectives on mental health, on and off the pitch, including viewpoints from their respective cultures.
The LA Galaxy and the LA Galaxy Foundation's "Global View on Mental Health" event will take place at the Stadium Club at Dignity Health Sports Park tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT. The LA Galaxy Academy and the boys and girls soccer teams from Carson High School, a group of approximately 140, will take part in the event. AEG employees will also attend and the event will be live streamed on Microsoft Teams .
This marks the LA Galaxy's third annual Mental Health Awareness event. The club also shares Mental Health Awareness Month content on their social media platforms in partnership with (LACDMH).
