
La Fiera Clinch Division in Home Win

HIDALGO, Texas - Hidalgo La Fiera clinched the Central Division of the PASL by defeating the Tulsa Revolution by a final score 23-2 on Sunday evening at State Farm Arena.
Hidalgo (14-2) scored 11 goals in the first half with Robson Souza having a hat-trick which included an assist. Forward Mark Ughy had four assist in the scoring barrage by La Fiera.
De Souza finished with four goals and one assist while Ughy had two goals and six assists in the victory.
Tulsa (2-14) had a consolation goal in the first half when Matt Mason slotted home a pass from Michael Nsien to give the Revolution some fighting spirit.
La Fiera responded with 12 more goals in the second half as Edgar Flores and Carlos Farias each had tricks to highlight the second half to score the 23 goals in all.
The Revolution added a goal in the second half this time from Jorge Perez was the scorer as Nsien provided a lob pass that was slotted home
Goal Keeper and Brownsville native Juan Gamboa earned his 14th win of the season only allowing two goals for La Fiera while making eight saves.
The playoff games will be determined at a later date with La Fiera hosting a home game with an opponent to be determined.
