DALLAS, Texas - Hidalgo La Fiera lost a close game to the Dallas Sidekicks by final score of 7-3 at the Allen Events Center on Saturday night.
Hidalgo (3-3) scored first when Irving Tovar scored on a Damian Rosales pass making it 1-0.
Dallas (5-1) would respond courtesy Fabinho Leite goal which was set up by Shaun David making it a one all game as it would be all the scoring in the first half.
The Sidekicks would regain the lead after the break when Freddy Moojen tallied on a Dominic Schell helper giving them a 2-1 lead.
La Fiera would tie the game at two on an Alejandro Morales goal which was an unassisted goal in the third quarter.
Dallas would regain the lead for good in the third quarter when Jaime Lovegrove scored the go ahead goal giving them 3-2 after three periods.
The Sidekicks would score three more goals in the 4th quarter which put the game out of distance for Hidalgo.
Hidalgo added a late consolation goal by Morales which trimmed the deficit to 6-3 in the fourth quarter. Dallas added a late goal by Michael Jones which was assisted by Carlos Videla making it a 7-3 final.
Brownsville native, Juan Gamboa (3-3) suffered the loss making 12 saves for Hidalgo La Fiera.
Hidalgo La Fiera will conclude the two game road trip in Saltillo on December 12th taking on Rancho Seco Saltillo at the Deportivo RSS with the kickoff at 7:35 pm. The next home game for Hidalgo La Fiera will be on Sunday, December 14th to face Oxford City Texas at State Farm Arena with the kickoff at 3:00 pm .
