Kyle Farnsworth to Start for Bulls Tonight

DURHAM, NC- Tampa Bay Rays closer Kyle Farnsworth is scheduled to start tonight's game for the Durham Bulls, beginning a MLB rehab assignment as the team kicks off a four game series against Syracuse.

Farnsworth, who has been sidelined all season after injuring his elbow in spring training, went 5-1 with a 2.18 ERA and 25 saves as the Rays' closer in 2011. He was placed on the 60-day Disabled List to start the year and now joins Rays DH Luke Scott on rehab assignment with the Bulls.

The Bulls, winners of five straight and seven of their last eight, welcome the Syracuse Chiefs for a four game set starting tonight at 7:05pm.
