Kulevich and Phillips Assigned to Jacksonville

Winnipeg, MB - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today, in conjunction with its ECHL affiliate, the Jacksonville Icemen, the team has assigned defenceman Jake Kulevich to the Icemen. The Moose also announced the Winnipeg Jets have assigned goaltender Jamie Phillips to Jacksonville.

Kulevich, 25, is in his first season of professional hockey. The Marblehead, Mass. native has one assist and a plus-seven rating in 26 games with the Moose this season. Prior to his professional career, Kulevich spent four seasons at Colgate University where he suited up for 150 games, while registering 60 points (15G, 45A).

Phillips, 24, has made nine appearances with the Moose this season, posting a 3-4-0 record, supported by a 2.69 goals-against average and a 0.924 save percentage. The Caledonia, Ont. product also holds a 3-11-0 record with a 3.38 goals-against average and a 0.892 save percentage in 16 games with Jacksonville this season.
