Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets reached six goals for the second straight game at Missouri Saturday night with a 6-1 win and took a sweep of a two-game series at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, Missouri.
The Komets opened the game with a 4-0 lead at the end of the first period, scoring three goals in 6:25 for the fastest three goals scored this season. The Komets padded their lead with goals in the second and third period.
Six different players scored for Fort Wayne including Mike Cazzola, Gabriel Desjardins, Shawn Szydlowski, Mike Embach, David Friedmann and Cody Sol. Eric Hartzell earned the win in the Fort Wayne net making 30 saves on 31 shots for his first road win of the season and improves to 3-2-2.
The Komets were 1/2 on the power play while stopping all five of Missouri's man advantages. Fort Wayne extended its point streak to five games (3-0-2) and is riding a four-game road unbeaten (in regulation) streak (2-0-2).

The Komets cap their four-game road trip to the heartland of American with a 5:05pm ET faceoff today at the INTRUST Bank Arena at Wichita.
The Komets will return home after this weekend to host the Quad City Mallards Friday, Nov. 18 at 8pm.

The next Kids Seat Free Night is Friday, Nov. 18 at 8pm when Quad City visits for the Komets next home game, courtesy Aunt Millie's, Parkview Health and the Komets. Any child under the age of 12 can see the game for free with a full-priced adult ticket purchase.
Friday night Marathon Nights-- Again this year Komet fans can save on their Friday night tickets with Marathon. Fans can earn a buy-one-get-one-free ticket offer with the purchase of three fill-ups at participating Marathon locations. Save with your Marathon Fill-Up Card Friday, Nov. 18 when the Komets face the Mallards.
TIP-A-KOMET Tuesday Nov. 15 at Applebee's-- The Komets invite all fans to the Tip-A-Komet benefit at Applebee's North Clinton location by the Coliseum Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 6:30pm-8pm. Fans have a chance to be served dinner by a Komet player as the entire team will be on-hand for the special night at Applebee's.
