
Komets Acquire Defenseman Tim Priamo

Fort Wayne, IN ---The Komets announced Friday that defenseman Tim Priamo has been acquired from the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.
Priamo (pree-AMM-oh), 24, made his pro debut last season skating 22 games with Wheeling scoring a goal and four points and accumulating six penalty minutes.
The Guelph, Ontario native is a recipient of the 2008-09 OHL Top Academic University Player Award (Roger Neilson Award) and was named to the 2009-10 CIS All-Rookie Team while a member of the University of Guelph. Priamo was also named to the 2010-11 CIS First All-Star Team in his second and final year with the University of Guelph.
Priamo is expected to be in the lineup when the Komets host Trenton Saturday night at 7:30.
The Komets will skate at Kalamazoo tonight at 7:30 before returning home to host the Trenton Titans Saturday at 7:30pm. The Titans will be making their first ever appearance in Fort Wayne and it is the only meeting of the season between the Komets and Trenton.
Both games will webcast at www.komets.com at Xfinity KometCast and aired on WOWO Radio AM 1190 and FM 92.3 with Bob Chase calling the play-by-play.

Fans are asked to bring donations of books magazines, DVD's, snacks, T-Shirts, toiletries, wrapped hard candies, hand sanitizer, wet wipes and more for our troops overseas.
