
Knights trade Logan Hunter to Petes

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that the team has traded Overage Center Logan Hunter to the Peterborough Petes in exchange for a 7th Round Pick in 2005. Hunter, 20 was the Knights 2nd Round Pick ( 24th Overall ) at the 2000 OHL Draft. During his 4 Seasons in London, Hunter scored 50 goals and tallied 66 Assists for 116 points and recorded 489 Penalty Minutes. Hunter was named the Knights 2001-2002 Scholastic Player of the Year.
Logan is the nephew of London Knights Owner's Dale and Mark Hunter. Mark Hunter went on to state " This is a difficult trade to make as a family as Logan is a kid Dale and I have known his entire life but it is one that was made with our team and the hockey player in mind ". We wish him all the best in Peterborough this season."
Hunter is currently recovering from a broken ankle and is expected to join the Petes in early November.
