Dickson named OHL Player of the Week

Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Windsor Spitfires left winger John Scott Dickson is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday October 24 after scoring six goals in two games.

Dickson, a 20-year-old native of Scarborough, scored three goals, including the game-winner in a 5-4 win over the Sarnia Sting on October 21. He scored his second consecutive hat trick in an 8-3 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on October 22. Dickson was the first star in both games.

Dickson, who is in his fifth season with the Spitfires, leads the team with 12 goals and 15 points in 13 games this season. He has recorded points in each of the past five games, including three straight three-point games.
