Charlotte Knights News Release
FORT MILL, SC -- The Charlotte Knights are pleased to announce that they will be opening the doors to Knights Stadium at 4:30 beginning on Wednesday, May 25th when the Knights return home from their current 8-game home stand. The Knights are opening the doors early in order to allow fans the opportunity to see Frank Thomas participate in pre-game batting practices.
Knights Vice President and General Manager, Bill Blackwell stated, "We thought that with the demand that Frank would create that this would be a great opportunity for our fans to get an up close and personal look at one of the biggest stars in the major leagues."
The Knights batting practices will begin around 4:30 in the afternoon for each game during their next home stand against the Indianapolis Indians as well as their games against the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Red Barons. However, batting practice times and schedule are subject to change based on coaching staff decisions and weather.
