
Knights Take Second Game Of Series, Defeat Gems 5-2

Klamath Falls, OR: The Gems outhit Corvallis nine to seven but the Knights prevailed 5-2 on Saturday night at Kiger Stadium, and won their second straight win in the three game series. Thomas Kizzial (Oregon Tech) took the loss in his first appearance for the Gems and Sean Eberhardt (George Fox University) came on in relief for Corvallis for the win, and stayed perfect with a record of 4-0 overall.
Cole Trezek (Loyola Marymount) had an RBI double and two hits overall for the Gems, as well as Ryan Clark also chipping in with two hits, including an RBI single. Klamath Falls will finish in fifth place in the South Division with one more game to play. Corvallis improves to a league best 36-17 and first place in the South Division.
Gems final game is Sunday, August 11th vs. the Corvallis Knights. Sunday's promotion: Seniors and Kids Clubs Sundays-Seniors get a $1 ticket discount and Tater Tot members get in for free!
