August 11, 2013 - West Coast League (WCL)
Bend Elks News Release
The Bend Elks fought back from a 10-1 deficit to pull within 2 runs, but the Elks could get no closer, finishing the season on a 6 game losing streak, falling by a score of 14-12.
Bend finished the season 30-24 overall, tied for 2nd place with the Medford Rogues, but because the Rogues took 4 of 6 from Bend in 2013, the expansion franchise will head to the playoffs in their first year of baseball.
The WCL Playoffs will begin August 13th,
Northern Division: #1 Walla Walla Sweets vs. #2 Wenatchee Apple Sox
Southern Division: #1 Corvallis Knights vs. #2 Medford Rogues
