Macon Knights News Release
MACON, Ga. â Edmund Olson, President of the Macon Knights, announced today that Mike Hold has been relieved of his responsibilities as the team's head coach.
"This was an extremely difficult decision for the organization because Mike Hold has done so much to promote the Knights and the sport of Arena Football," said Olson. "Mike is a great ambassador of the sport and is a class-act guy."
The Knights will hold a brief press conference today at 3:00 pm at SportsTowne regarding the decision.
The search for a new head coach is underway and the team hopes to have someone in place by the end of the week. The Knights have a bye this week and will be back in action as they travel to Tulsa on Saturday, May 21st.
