FIRE SUFFERS FIRST SETBACK: The Fire (4-1) suffered their first loss of the 2005 season last Friday night in Manchester (4-1) 46 â 37. The offense once again was paced by Rob Mager as he hauled in 10 receptions for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Kicker Danny Kight also hit a 50-yard field goal, his longest of the season.
HEADING NORTH: The Fire will now head north to face the Green Bay Blizzard (4-1) in an East Division show down. The Blizzard won last week at Arkansas 48-35. The Fire leads the all-time series with the Blizzard 3-1 including two wins last season. The winner will maintain at least a tie for first place in the East Division.

JUMPING ON TEAMS EARLY: The Fire is starting games off right this season, currently holding a 62-33 advantage in the first quarter.
NEXT HOME GAME: The Fire will return home, after two straight weeks on the road, on May 21 to face the Florida Firecats (5-0). The Firecats are the defending af2 Champions. The Fire will also be giving away bobblehead dolls of WAMZ radio personality Coyote Calhoun.
FAN SUPPORT: After two home games this season the Fire is currently first in attendance averaging 8,115 per game in Freedom Hall. The crowd of 9,151 that saw the Fire beat Birmingham on April 30 was a league high so far this season.
