
Knighthawks Unveil 2021-22 Roster

Rochester Knighthawks News Release
(Rochester, NY) - Rochester Knighthawks General Manager and Vice President of Lacrosse Operations Dan Carey announced today the team's season-opening roster for the 2021-22 National Lacrosse League regular season. Rochester's roster features a total of 25 players, including 21 on the active roster, while four others have been assigned to the team's inactive roster to begin the season.
Knighthawks Active Roster by position (21)
Forwards (8): Charlie Bertrand, Holden Cattoni, Shawn Evans, Turner Evans, Thomas Hoggarth, Curtis Knight, Ryan Smith and Jeff Wittig.
Defensemen (5): Matt Bennett, Tyler Biles, Dan Coates, Paul Dawson and Doug Utting.
Transition (6): Cory Highfield, Matt Gilray, Ryland Rees, John Wagner, Thomas Whitty and Chris Willman.
Goaltenders (2): Rylan Hartley and Evan Kirk.
Knighthawks Inactive Roster (4)
Practice Roster (3): Tyler Halls (D), Mitch Ogilvie (D), Joel Watson (G)
Physically Unable to Perform (1): Mike Manley (D)
The Knighthawks are slated to open the 2021-22 campaign on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. when they visit the New York Riptide as part of the league's Face-Off Weekend. Rochester's Home Opener is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11 against the rival Buffalo Bandits at 7:05 p.m.
