Knighthawks Have Two First-Round Picks in Tonight's NLL Draft

For the Rochester Knighthawks it's déjà vu all over again at the National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. For the second straight season, the Knighthawks own two first-round picks and have a total of six selections.

It was just a year ago that Rochester selected Graeme Hossack second overall and followed that up by taking Brad Gillies with the ninth overall pick. The draft also yielded defenseman Adam Bomberry in the second round.

At the 2016 NLL Entry Draft, Rochester has two of the top picks and will make selections at the sixth and seventh overall spots. The Knighthawks also have the 29th, 34th, 43rd and 51st selections, matching the number of picks the franchise had last year.

The six-round draft begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario. Fans can watch the draft live on NLL.com. The pre-draft show begins at 6:30 p.m. with hosts Stephen Stamp (ILindoor.com) and Andy McNamara (TSN).
