BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, fell 119-108 to the Long Island Nets Saturday evening at Total Mortgage Arena.
For the Knicks (1-6) James Akinjo (affiliate) scored 32 points and dished 10 assists of his fifth double-double of the season. Feron Hunt (Two-Way) and DaQuan Jeffries (affiliate) mirrored 18 points each. MJ Walker (returning rights) added 19 points off the bench.
The Nets (5-4) were led by RaiQuan Gray's 28 points and 15 boards. Kessier Edwards notched 27 points and 12 rebounds. Chris Chiozza added seven points and a team-high 10 dimes.
The Greensboro Swarm come to town Monday, November 28 for a matchup with Westchester slated for a 7 PM ET start time.
