Kings Win Two Straight
June 10, 2009 - Frontier League (FL)
Kalamazoo Kings News Release
The Kalamazoo Kings took the second straight game from the Lake Erie Crushers 2-0 Wednesday night. Starting pitcher Trent Lare took matters into his own hands after three starts of meager run support by throwing a complete game shutout. The Kings scored a run in the first without a hit; going walk, wild pitch, walk, sacrifice fly. The second run was knocked in on a Kyle Higgins double in the fourth.
