The Kalamazoo Kings won their home opener against the Florence Freedom on Tuesday May 25, 2004 by a score of 9-1. Jon Huizenga pitched seven innings allowing three hits while striking out four. Darryl Blaze, Fehlandt Lentini, and Sam Flamont each scored two runs apiece while Casey DeGroote contributed two hits with a two-run homerun in the seventh. The Kings as team collected eight hits. Tommorrow's game is set for 10:00 am against the Florence Freedom.
