Kalamazoo Kings News Release
The Kalamazoo Kings suffered a 6-3 defeat to the Chillicothe Paints in the series finale on Saturday. Chillicothe struck first and scored at least one run in each of the first five innings and never relinquished the lead. Kalamazoo scored two runs in the fourth and one in the eighth. Tory Haven was 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored. Casey DeGroote was 3-for-3 with an RBI. Justin McClain and Phil Archer each added a pair of hits. Kalamazoo begins a three-game series with Florence on Sunday at 5:35 p.m. at Homer Stryker Field.
