Kalamazoo Kings News Release
KINGS WIN 3-2 - The Kalamazoo Kings defeated the Evansville Otters 3-2 Wednesday night in a rain-shortened game.
Starter Joe DiPietro continues to dazzle, this time throwing six innings and only allowing one run. Joe has won four of his past five starts, evening his record to 4-4, and hasn't allowed more than two runs in any appearance since May. The offense helped out as well, taking another early lead, going up 3-0 after two innings.
Three Kings drove in runs to provide enough support for DiPietro. Rich Babb came in the seventh and ended up earning the save.
