Kalamazoo Kings News Release

The Kalamazoo Kings will host the first ever "Bring Your Dog to the Park" Night, presented by the United Kennel Club on Thursday, June 12. The Kings take on the Cook County Cheetahs starting at 6:35 p.m. The event is in conjunction with the United Kennel Club Top 10 Competition and Premiere Dog Shows taking place at the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds June 12-15 (The shows run from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m at the fairgrounds and admission and parking are free.)

Fans are invited to bring their dog to Homer Stryker Field on June 10 to enjoy a night of baseball with the Kalamazoo Kings. There are just a few simple rules to follow if you want to bring your dog with you. All dogs must be on a leash and each owner is responsible for cleaning up after any mess their pet might leave behind. The third base bleachers and picnic area at Homer Stryker Field will be reserved for all dogs and their owners.

Between inning entertainment will include the usual wacky Kings between inning antics, along with performance dogs displaying their tricks on the field.

Tickets for the game are still available for purchase by visiting the Kings ticket office, located at 251 Mills St. or by calling 269-388-8326. Check out the Kings online at www.kalamazookings.com.
