The Kalamazoo Kings won their fourth straight tonight over the Florence Freedom by a score of 12-2.
The Kings collected 14 hits on the night, including a 3 for 3 night with four RBI's from Kevin Wilson. Wilson also hit two homeruns, one from the right side of the plate and one from the left side. Wilson becomes the first Kings player in franchise history to hit two homeruns from both sides of the plate in the same game. Tino Burgos also homered in the first inning of play, making it his first of the year. He also collected two hits on the night. Walt Simmons had three hits, while Chris Carter and Tory Haven each had two. Jason Biddlestone got his second win of the season giving up five hits through six innings and striking out seven.
The Kings return to action tommorrow night to take on the Florence Freedom in the last game of a three game series. The Kings will also be looking for their first series sweep of the season.
