The Kings used the long ball this afternoon to defeat Richmond 4-1 and complete the series sweep of the Roosters. Joe Shallenberger and Phil Archer each hit two-run blasts to left field. Sam Flamont added a pair of hits for the Kings. Josh Beshears (1-1) allowed just two hits over eight innings while striking out six to pick up the win. Greg Wiltshire came on in the ninth to earn the save. Kalamazoo begins a three-game series with Chillicothe at Homer Stryker Field on Thursday at 6:35 p.m.
