
Kings and Paddock Part Ways

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, terminated the contract of forward Cam Paddock, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today. Paddock is expected to join the Augsburg Panthers of the German Elite League.
Paddock, 28, recorded five points (2-35) and 44 penalty minutes in 39 games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-foot-2, 192-pound native of Vancouver, British Columbia played last season in Germany with the Iserlohn Roosters where he collected 17 points (5-1217) and 40 penalty minutes in 46 regular season games. Paddock has appeared in 16 career NHL regular season games - all with St. Louis during the 2008-09 season. Originally selected by Pittsburgh in the fifth-round (137th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Paddock recorded two goals and three points in those 16 NHL games with the St. Louis Blues. Paddock has also logged games in the AHL with Peoria, San Antonio and Wilkes-Barre, and in the ECHL with Phoenix and Wheeling.
