
Phantoms Make Roster Moves

The Adirondack Phantoms have announced that forwards Luke Pither and Andrew Rowe have been assigned to the ECHL. Pither will join the Trenton Titans in their series at the South Carolina Stingrays this weekend. Rowe joins the Greenville (SC) Road Warriors in their series this weekend at the Florida Everblades.
Both players are in their second season with the Phantoms. Pither has two goals and six assists in 28 games with Adirondack this year. These will be his first games in the ECHL. He scored nine goals and 11 assists with the Phantoms in his rookie season in 2010-11 after joining the Flyers organization from the Barrie Colts of the OHL.
Rowe missed the first two months of this season with an upper-body injury. He has three goals and one assist with the Phantoms this season in 14 games. Last year, the MIchigan State University product scored seven goals and five assists in 55 games with the Phantoms. Rowe also played 10 regular season games and 11 playoff games with Greenville scoring a combined nine goals and 24 points in his time there.
On Wednesday, the Phantoms received three forwards from the Philadelphia Flyers; Ben Holmstrom, Tom Sestito and Harry Zolnierczyk. Holmstrom and Sestito had just been with Philadelphia for a few days having played in games on Sunday and Tuesday. Zolnierczyk played his first game with the Phantoms since October 29 and has played in 34 games with the Flyers scoring three goals and two assists.
It is an opportunity for those players to get additional playing time with the Phantoms while the Flyers on their NHL All-Star Break.
