KISSIMMEE, FL: The Florida Fire Frogs used a pair of fourth inning runs and a masterful performance on the mound from RHP Nolan Kingham to lock up their first series victory of the season, 2-0, over the Lakeland Flying Tigers on Wednesday evening at Osceola County Stadium.

Kingham (1-1) was dialed in the entire way, permitting just three hits and gathering five strikeouts as part of the first complete game in the history of the Florida Fire Frogs franchise. He threw 85 pitches and faced only 28 batters, one over the minimum.

The only run support Kingham would need came in the bottom of the fourth. Drew Lugbauer slammed a two-run double off RHP Tom de Blok with two down, plating Greyson Jenista and Jefrey Ramos to put Florida in front, 2-0.

The tough-luck loser, de Blok (0-1) allowed four hits and two walks over five innings. LHP Max Green and RHP Billy Lescher combined to yield just one hit over the final three stanzas.

The game took just 1:36, shattering the former Florida franchise record by 18 minutes. The Fire Frogs played two contests that took just 1:54 last season.

Riley Unroe bumped his on-base streak to a team-best 10 games. Brett Langhorne went 1-3, moving his hitting streak to five.

NEXT UP: Now that the Fire Frogs have locked up their first series win of the season; they go for the sweep of the Flying Tigers on Thursday afternoon at noon. RHP Freddy Tarnok (0-1, 7.20) and Lakeland's RHP Jesus Rodriguez (0-3, 4.30) is the pitching matchup.
