Kinder Pots Hat Trick as ICE Defeat Blades 7-6

Saskatoon, SK - Nino Kinder recorded a hat trick in a wild night at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon as the ICE edged the Blades 7-6 on Friday night.
The ICE trailed 4-1 late in the first period but rattled off six unanswered goals by the mid-way mark of the final frame to take a 7-4 lead. The Blades would add two goals late in the game to make things interesting but the ICE would hang on for its second victory of the season.
The ICE top line of Michal Teply, Nino Kinder and Isaac Johnson was dominant, each recording three points. Along with Kinder, Teply, Nolan Orzeck, Brad Ginnell, and James Form scored the other goals for the ICE. Goaltender Dean McNabb picked up his second victory of the season, stopping 23 shots in the ICE net.
