Windsor Express News Release
The Windsor Express has announced today that, for the first round of the playoffs, children aged 13 and under will be admitted free to each home game with a paid adult, after a welcomed gesture by season ticket holder Stan Potvin.
"We're thrilled to be able to provide the help that this community needs and I think it's a great opportunity for those who are new to the Windsor Express to get a feel for what a great organization it is," Potvin said. "Basketball is growing in this community and we want to get the seats filled and I think this is a great way to do it."
The Express will face the St John's Edge in Round 1 of playoff action. Games 1 and 2 will be on the road before switching to Windsor for games 3 and 4*, on April 11 and 13, at the WFCU Centre, with the tip at 7pm both nights.
"My family has a couple of very generous benefactors which has enabled us to be in this position where we're able to give back to the community," Potvin continued. "If someone helps you, you can helps others. We want to get as many people excited about the Windsor Express as my son and I are."
Tickets for the Windsor Express playoff home dates start at $22 for adults and $14 for youths. They can be purchased by calling 519-800-3665, from the WFCU Centre Box Office, or by emailing Andrew Kozak at andrew@windsorexpress.ca
