"Kids CAN Help and You CAN Too" At Centennial Monday Night

BURLINGTON, VT --- The Vermont Lake Monsters will help to fight hunger on Monday, August 9th when they host the Batavia Muckdogs at 7:05 pm at historic Centennial Field as Citizens Bank, City Market and the Burlington Free Press join the Lake Monsters for "Kids CAN Help and you CAN too" night.

Everyone who brings a donation of a non-perishable food item will receive a free General Admission ticket to that night's game! In addition, every person who brings a donation will be entered into a drawing with four lucky winners receiving a $25 City Market gift certificate. One lucky fan could also win a $2,000 Gas Card courtesy of Pepsi & Maplefield's.

For each strikeout recorded by a Lake Monsters pitcher in Monday's game, Citizens Bank will donate $50 to the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf.

It will be your last chance to see the Lake Monsters until August 18th as Vermont will head out on the road for a six-game roadtrip and two days off for the New York-Penn League All-Star Game following Monday's game against the Muckdogs.
