Renegades Walk Off With Win to End Jammers Streak

Wappingers Falls, NY - Hudson Valley scored a run in the bottom of the 10th inning to defeat the Jammers, 4-3, and end Jamestown's winning streak at five games.

The run came across on a ball hit down the right field line. Marcell Ozuna bobbled the ball in right field and Dio Luis came in to score from first base, beating Aaron Senne's relay throw to the plate.

The Jammers led 3-0 after five innings, but the Renegades scored a run in the bottom of the sixth and two in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game. The first run came off starter Adam Veres, who threw six innings of one-run ball. The tying runs were charged to Kenneth Toves.

Jamestown had a chance to take the lead in the top of the 10th but James Wooster was thrown out at home plate. Hudson Valley scored the winning run in the bottom of the frame off Jeremy Heatley, who threw 2.2 innings of relief.
